With the online industry becoming flooded with numerous business opportunities, it’s easy to get caught up in the hype when it comes to choosing a legitimate home based business.  I have been in this industry for 2 years and I will be the first to tell you that it’s not as easy as everyone would like to believe.  There is a secret to creating wealth online, and that secret can easily attained by anyone if they follow a few simple steps.

I recently gave a seminar to folks interested in starting their own online business.  Most of them were looking for information about shopping carts, search engine optimization, hosting, and tech related issues.  I believe they were all stunned when I explained that I would not address any of their questions until they told me their niche.

Is it possible to build an Internet business from nothing? That’s sort of a loaded question if you ask me. The real question is, are you willing to do what it takes to build an Internet business? There are a lot of people who seem to believe that starting an Internet business is easy and cheap. The problem with this kind of thinking is that it’s simply not true.

To start a successful Internet business you need to understand that the same rules of business apply as in a regular brick and mortar store.
